The Chalk Mug is a mug you can write on with chalk. Design funny pictures, or just “mark your territory” so to speak.  There are a variety of different ways to enjoy the concept of using chalk on a beverage holder. The one you see here is a standard basic version by the Konitz company. This comes blank to let your imagination run free on an empty canvas so to speak. All of the Konitz chalk mugs are dishwasher safe and microwaveable.

They also include one stick of white chalk as a nice little added bonus. The chalk wipes off very easily, and you can write on them over and over again.

Konitz also makes this “Kiss Lips” version. You can still draw all over it with chalk, but this one has the added touch of kissing lips imprinted on them. Click the image for more details and how to buy them.

Another company makes chalk mugs like the one you see here. This one is the “I am not a paper cup” chalkboard mug. Not only is this a chalk mug like the ones above, but the twist here is that it is designed to look exactly like a paper coffee cup at first glance. However, this is actually a 12 ounce mug that is re-usable, dishwasher safe, and microwaveable. It has a silicone lid, and is great for both hot and cold beverages. This chalk mug is black ,but they also make a white one that would look much more like the disposable paper cups you would expect to receive from a fast food restaurant or coffee shop.  Click the image for more pictures and details.
